If you have received a letter from us
We are a firm of attorneys instructed to recover a debt on behalf of our client. If our letter reached you, your account is in arrears and we have been asked to act.
You can check that we are a real firm before you do anything else — we would encourage it. See how to verify us below.
If you cannot pay the full amount
Tell us. An arrangement is usually possible, and it stops the matter going further. An acknowledgement of debt under section 57 of the Magistrates’ Courts Act lets you repay in instalments without judgment being taken against you.
Contacting us costs you nothing and is almost always cheaper than not doing so.
Verify us
Anyone can print a letterhead. You should not take our word for who we are, and you do not have to.

How to check
- Contact the Legal Practice Council directly — find their number yourself rather than using one we give you — and ask them to confirm the practice number above.
- Ask whether the attorney named above holds a current Fidelity Fund Certificate. An attorney without one may not practise.
- Check that any letter you received quotes the same practice number as this page.
If the details do not match, do not pay anything and tell us and the Council. We would rather know.
What we do, and who we act for
Debt recovery and related civil litigation in the Magistrates’ Courts, on instruction from credit providers registered with the National Credit Regulator.
We do not name our clients. An attorney owes a duty of confidentiality, and the identity of the creditor in your matter is stated on the letter you received — along with their NCR registration number, which you can verify with the Regulator.
We act for the creditor, not for you. If you want advice about your own position you are entitled to your own attorney, and you may also approach a debt counsellor, the National Credit Regulator, the Credit Ombud or a consumer court.
